Rocker
Arm (OK-B0505):
OKL Can Line now offers a high-performance
alternative for the redraw system on your Ragsdale-brand
can-making machine. The evolution of the redraw
system has been limited to cam revisions, until
the introduction of the guide post style redraw
carriage. The guide post style redraw carriage
reduced the mass/inertia of the redraw system
by 20.5 lbs. (42%). In addition, the pre-load
of 2000-lbs on the cam follower bearings was
also eliminated. Further reduction of mass from
the redraw assembly is accomplished by the High-performance
Billet Aluminum Rocker Arm. A traditional cast
steel rocker arm weighs 27lbs (not including
bearings), in contrast OKL's new rocker arm
weighs 9-lbs (not including bearings). To ensure
integrity, the aluminum rocker arm is milled
from a solid billet of 7075-T6 (the strongest
alloy available). The final product is stronger
and more elastic, in the event of a crash. Eliminating
the screws at the bottom to the rocker arm also
enhances installation. The shaft is retained
with 5/16-24 screw and cap on both ends of the
shaft.

and Cams to accelerate
